Tips for using MNsure’s new system

We’ve been receiving helpful feedback from our partners who are starting to activate their new MNsure portal accounts and help consumers. Thanks to their experience, we have some tips for assisters getting used to working in MN-EES:
- Activating your account and setting up multi-factor authentication: MNsure shared a /assets/2026-July-Broker-Webinar_tcm34-758986.pdfwalk-through of the account set-up process and multi-factor authentication for assisters during the statewide broker webinar this week.
- Uploading verifications for consumers: When uploading verifications for special enrollments periods or other circumstances, combine all supporting documents into one PDF before uploading. This keeps the verification documents together and reduces the chance that something is missed during review. If the upload does not include sufficient supporting documentation, the Broker Service Line or Assister Resource Center may need to take additional actions before more documents can be uploaded.
- Using the application summary: To quickly review information in a consumer's application, select View Application instead of Edit Application. This lets you view the application details without having to navigate through the entire application. You can quickly find specific details on the application by:
- Opening the application summary.
- Using “Ctrl F” or “Command F” (depending on your operating system).
- Typing in a key word to jump to a specific spot in the summary to check what information was entered on the application.
